Jack Morton, a student at the University of Michigan, is a member of a secret society and tries to avenge the death of his mother in The Order, a Netflix horror-drama series. A perfect rating of 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes is all it took for this show, which debuted in March 2019 and will conclude its second season in June 2020.
However, Netflix did not extend the show’s run for another season, and some have hypothesised as to why that may be. Though Netflix does not give explanations for their decisions, Looper speculated as to why.
It’s possible that Netflix was simply looking for places to save money and found the programme too esoteric to gain a big audience, as they did cancel several good shows in 2020. It includes Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Altered Carbon, The Society, and I Am Not Okay with This.

What Fans Wanted to see From Season 3 of The Order
In the season 2 finale, we were left with a lot of uncertainties about what might happen in the next third season.
Is Alyssa Dead?
After being possessed by the werewolf Midnight in the final minutes of season 2, Gabrielle brutally murdered Alyssa. Her dying body was carried out into the wooded area by Jack, who was also carrying the Vade Maecum, as our last memory of Alyssa.
Most powerful magic is found in the Vade Maecum, which houses a particularly potent incantation. Jack may be able to bring Alyssa back to life with the help of this powerful magical totem.
In the event that Jack can successfully bring Alyssa back from the dead, the missing Werewolf hide Alpha might potentially bond with Alyssa, making her a werewolf. It’s possible that the werewolf is looking for someone who has the same values as Salvador Grant, the past champion of Alpha.
Can Gabrielle Escape the Clutches of Midnight?
When it comes to defending the Knights of Saint Christopher, Gabrielle is helpless in the face of the werewolf’s ferocious determination to eliminate Jack and Silverback. Randal spotted Gabrielle in the woods after Midnight killed Alyssa and comforted her as she was plainly distraught.
As with Jurgen Sawyer and Silverback, the Knights of Saint Christopher may be able to remove Midnight from Gabrielle. As long as the Vade Maecum persists as a threat, Midnight may be willing to sacrifice himself in order to prevent it from being used.
Will Vera Retrieve her Magic from Alyssa?
Before she was granted access to the incantation Foris Factorum, Alyda had taken Vera Grant away from her magical powers following the death of her husband, Salvador Grant. Alyssa was able to avert calamity thanks to Vera’s help in sealing off the eruption.
Alyssa was unable to restore Vera’s magical abilities after she was attacked by Midnight. Vera is now powerless and unable to reclaim it because the former is now presumed dead. As a Grand Magus, she will either have to step down or find a way to reclaim her powers.
