A Brief Description of the Sweet Home Series

Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young, and Lee Do-hyun star in Sweet Home (Korean:, or Seuwiteuhom), a South Korean apocalyptic horror streaming television series.

The Netflix original series, based on Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-Naver chan’s webtoon of the same name, debuted on the streaming service on December 18, 2020 to over 2.1 billion net views.

Sweet Home Season 2 Netflix Renewal Status

Sweet Home premiered on Netflix fifteen months ago, but the streaming provider has yet to guarantee a renewal. In 2021, Netflix quashed rumours of a renewal for Sweet Home, but it appears that filming has already begun.

Several photographs from Song Kang’s manager’s Instagram profile have been discovered by keen-eyed admirers trawling the internet. A photo with the caption “It has began” and another that appears to be the cover of a script were shared on social media.

The lack of Korean hanja in the script photo suggests that it may be a fake, so take it with a grain of salt. A production crew was captured in a third photo, but there is no way to confirm that this is the crew behind Sweet Home.

Sweet Home Season 2 Release Date

Netflix has yet to confirm a second season of the show, which is unfortunate for fans. Netflix has denied reports that work on season 2 will begin in December 2021. Sweet Home Season 2 is still in the works, according to Netflix, but no decision has been made.

Nonetheless, who knows? Episodes will continue to air as long as the show continues to be popular. There are 140 chapters in the original Sweet Home Webtoon series, and many fans have observed that the first season leaves significant plotlines unanswered.

According to a spokesperson from Song Kang’s agency, Namoo Actors, who spoke with Soompi, the actor and the streaming service are still in talks about a second season.

Sweet Home Season 2 Cast

Cha Hyun Soo, a high school student, is the protagonist of the show. A Korean actor, Song Kang, portrays Hyun Soo in the movie.

Kim NamGee played “Korean language professor Jeong JaeHeon” in the first season of the show, while Park GyuYoung portrayed musician Yoon Ji-Su in the second season.

Lee JinWook played “former detective SangWook,” while Lee SiYoung portrayed “former special operative Seo Yi-Kung.”

Park Min-Si played Eun Lee, the younger sister of Lee Eunhyuk. Once Sweet Home Season 2 is greenlit by Netflix, who knows who will join the cast?

Sweet Home Season 2 Plot

Cha Hyun-Su (Song Kang) is a reclusive high school student who prefers to spend his free time alone in his room. Parents and younger sibling are the only people he will not speak to. One day, his entire family was killed in a vehicle accident, but he survived.

The final survivor is Cha Hyun-Su. He reduces the size of his home. All around the world, weird transformations of humans into monsters are taking place. Fighting for their lives, Pyeon Sang-Wook and the other residents of Cha Hyun Apartment Su’s building (played by Lee Jin-Wook) are pitted against these animals.

What Happened to Sang-Wook in ?

We last saw Sang-Wook dying in a pool of his own blood at the end of season 1 after attempting to save Yu Ri. The last twist of the season was Cha Hyun Soo waking up in a military van driven by Sang-Wook, who had no scars.

Sang Wook may have done one of two things. Before becoming a monster, Sang Wook has either already transformed or is in the process of doing so. The second possibility is that, as we last saw Myeong fleeing the scene of the battle after being vanquished by Cha Hyun Soo, he may have taken over the body of Sang Wook.

Is Eun Hyuk Dead?

Eun Hyuk began to bleed like an infected person in the final seconds before Green Homes collapsed. Eun Hyuk’s own metamorphosis could save his life, even if he is buried under the rubble of the apartment building.

Eun Hyuk’s desire to reunite his fractured family could be the catalyst for his change of heart. Although he is not Eun Yoo’s real brother, he nonetheless takes care of her.

New Rumours About Sweet Home Season 2 Production Circulate Online

Unlike any other community, the K-drama fandom boasts detective talents that can rival any private eye. Sweet Home season 2 production set photographs have been spreading on social media this week.

Song Kang’s manager is said to have shared these photographs on Instagram. In the first image, a blood-stained shoe is shown with the statement “It has begun,” followed by a script for episode 1 and a final image apparently taken from the set.

There is no way to tell for sure if these sets are for Sweet Home or another project, so fans should take them with a grain of salt.
