What is Blue Exorcist About?

The Ao no Ekusoshisuto, or Blue Exorcist, is a manga series written and illustrated by Kazue Kat. Jump SQ has published the manga since April 2009, with each chapter being compiled into 26 tankbon volumes as of Dec.

4, 2020, by Shueisha. After reading and rereading Kazue Kato’s short story, titled The Miyama-Uguisu Mansion Incident, I was inspired to write Blue Exorcist, which is based on that story.

A Brief Description About Blue Exorcist

The Blue Exorcist is a fantastic action series that also features demons and other supernatural elements. The protagonist of this anime series is Rin Okumura. The protagonist of the novel is Rin Okumura, who appears to be a typical adolescent.

His world is flipped upside down when he is confronted by demons and realises that he is Satan’s son. The first two seasons of the Blue Exorcist anime have a total of 37 episodes.

A total of 25 episodes aired between April and October of 2011 for the first season, and 12 episodes aired between January and March of 2017 for the second. Another film and three OVAs are also available. Season one had an original finale.

The season two reworked it so that everything that happened after episode 17 never occurred in the first season. Blue Exorcist is a popular anime series, and many fans want to know if there will be a third season and when it will be published.

How Much Did the Film Gross at the Box Office?

At the box office, the Blue Exorcist film brought about $560,000,000 Japanese Yen (approximately $4.5 million). 4.5 million dollars in ticket sales is enough for most anime films. Contrarily, in 2013, the popularity of Blue Exorcist was at an all-time high.

For a series as popular as this one, anything less than 750 million yen is quite unlikely to be a success.

Is There Going To Be A Third Season Of Blue Exorcist?

The second season of Blue Exorcist was not quite as popular as the first, so there is no set release date for the third. In 2022, this brand will earn less than 20% of what it made in 2014/2015.. It’s a shadow of what it once was.

Only about 30% of 2015’s manga sales will be sold in 2022, and there has been no new goods for this series in years. The second season’s Blu-ray sales were similarly disastrous.

Blue Exorcist official website and Twitter account are no longer promoting the series, which is what they should do if a third season is in development.

The projected conclusion of the first season was a major reason for the series’ downfall. So it was released six years after the first season’s debut.

Blue Exorcist Season 3 Release Date

The release date for the third season is still up in the air. Be on the lookout for any official notices!

This season’s release date could be around the middle of 2022 due to the start date of Season 3 of The Blue Exorcist being slated for January 2023.

Blue Exorcist Season 3: What Is The Plot

There are two levels to Ao no Exorcist’s reality, and they are linked via a mirror. There are two after Assiah in the realm of mankind. The Demon World, on the other hand, is Gehenna. In general, it’s tough to get around between the two places, let alone communicate effectively.

This domain can be entered by demons, though, if they take possession of something within it. It’s a pity that Satan doesn’t have a powerful container in the human realm to hold him! Rin Okumura, his son, was created specifically for this purpose, but will he agree or will he change…?

When Father Fujimoto attempted to kill Rin in order to send him back to the Demon realm, he set out on a journey to become an Exorcist. As Satan’s son, he had to learn how to overcome his own limitations in order to take against the devil head-on.

What is Going on With the Manga?

Manga enthusiasts will be happy to hear that the upcoming season of their favourite anime has plenty of narratives to choose from. There have already been several important story aspects from the first manga volumes adapted into the television series.

Because of this, it’s likely that Season 3 will begin with Manga Volumes 10 and 11, rather than with Manga Vol. 9. A new arc in the “Kyoto Saga” begins with this chapter, which tells the story of Rin’s battle with Lucifer, the King of Light, and the Illuminati.
