White House Says U.S. Will Not Lockdown to Fight Covid as European Nations Implement Restrictions

White House says that there is going to be no Covid Lockdown or any restrictions as the United Kingdom has been implementing restrictions once again. We do not know if this is a smart move or a dumb one.

The coronavirus cases in the United States are on the rise, so not having any lockdown or restrictions might seem a little bit of a rash and an unwise decision on some level, but maybe this is what is needed right now.

White House Says U.S. Will Not Lockdown to Fight Covid as European Nations Implement Restrictions

According to the White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients, the United States has no such plans as to implement any lockdown or restrictions to fight off the rising number of Covid cases.

The United Kingdom, on the other hand, has taken this rise very seriously, and they are heavy on the restrictions. Many people expected the United States to follow this, but as it turns out, they have no plans for doing so.

However, they are going to do something about the rising cases. The government is not just going to sit idly by and then watch the cases go up.

They are thinking on a different line here, and the strategy is a bit different, but they do have a strategy, and they have made the public and the nation aware of it too.

The United States is going to depend on increased vaccination and therapy in order to decrease the number of cases and help people fight the coronavirus.

“We can curb the spread of the virus without having to in any way shut down our economy,” Zients said. “We have 82% of people now with one shot and more and more people getting vaccinated each week.”

Ron DeSantis, Called the New Limitations on Air Travel

Florida’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis, called the new limitations on air travel a “knee-jerk reaction.” In recent months, the state has taken action to prohibit vaccination and mask requirements for the Covid-19 virus.

Mr. DeSantis has promised that “we will not allow them lock you down” in Florida. “It is not acceptable that they take your position. Don’t worry, we won’t stand by while they destroy your company. Schools will remain open despite our best efforts.”

Biden’s Repeated Calls for Americans to Protect Themselves

Despite Mr. Biden’s repeated calls for Americans to protect themselves by donning face masks on Monday, he has been criticised for not following his own advice.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend he was in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where he was seen without a mask covering his face, even inside a business that had a notice in the window demanding that customers wear face coverings.

On Monday, First Lady Jill Biden also drew criticism for not wearing a mask when reading to a group of masked and socially isolated students at the White House.

In earlier court proceedings on Monday, a federal judge halted the Biden administration’s attempt to impose a coronavirus vaccine requirement on tens of thousands of healthcare workers in ten states.

Conclusion

It appears that government authorities have exceeded their authority, according to the judge’s opinion.

Earlier this month, a different court blocked a rule that would have forced companies with more than 100 employees to ensure their workers got vaccinated.

That is all about this matter for now.
