Based on Stephen King’s Bill Hodges novel trilogy Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, and End of Watch, “Mr. Mercedes” is an American crime thriller television series for the small screen. ‘Audience’ premiered the show on August 9th, 2017.
It was created by David E. Kelley and stars Harry Treadaway and Brendan Gleeson. A ten-episode third season of the show was confirmed in November 2018 by Audience, which began on September 10, 2019.

Mr Mercedes Season 3 Plot
In the first episode of the third season, a recluse writer named John Rothstein is robbed and murdered (Bruce Dern). Even though Rothstein ceased putting out new books, he kept writing. However, they were unable to acquire a job since they had been traumatised by the murdering spree of Hartsfield.
This is Morris Bellamy (Gabriel Ebert) who manages to get away with the money and several moleskin notebooks full of unpublished works by Rothstein.

Hodges and his team of investigators Jerome (Jharrel Jerome) and Holly (Justine Lupe) search for the killer of a beloved local novelist (Bruce Dern) in season three. It was written and executive produced by Big Little Lies’ David E. Kelley and King.
Things get more complicated as the investigation unfolds and Brady continues to stalk his victims. Even though Mr. Mercedes hasn’t received as much attention as some of King’s other TV adaptations.
