Married at First Sight Season 9 Couples

From the first moment a couple meets, the show will track their journey together. Married At First Sight covers it all, from the wedding to the honeymoon to the rest of their lives.

Each couple must make a decision after a few weeks of being together: do they stay together or divorce? Couples on this season’s show include a previously engaged cast member as well as a complete novice.

Gregory Okotie, 32, and Deonna McNeill, 30

In a single-parent household with his mother and sister, Gregory was brought up by himself. A math learning facility owner, he considers himself a businessman. In Gregory’s mind, his communication skills are excellent.

He had been engaged for two years before that. Deonna has a strong sense of family values. She’s a well-traveled, career-oriented, and self-sufficient operations manager. She hasn’t been in a relationship in a decade.

Elizabeth Bice, 29, and Jamie Thompson, 35

Elizabeth, a 32-year-old account professional, prides herself on her ability to communicate well verbally. However, she can be a little more reserved when it comes to showing devotion to her boyfriend.

After over 30 years of marriage, her parents are still together and she aspires to the same. Jamie, a 35-year-old finance technician, is itching to go out of the country.

His belief is that a person can fall in love with someone at first sight. He grew up in a close-knit family with a mother who loved him dearly.

Keith Manley, 27, and Iris Caldwell, 27

Keith, a 27-year-old volunteer mentor and coach, helps others in his neighbourhood. To him, marriage is a lifelong bond that can’t be broken, and he opposes divorce.

They have been married for nearly 30 years and his grandparents have been married for more than half of that time. It’s something he’s looking for, too.

As a non-profit programme coordinator, Iris is 27 years old. A significant part of her life is devoted to religion, and she has made the conscious decision to abstain from sexual relations until she marries.

Her parents split while she was a child, and she has no siblings. She’s a traditionalist who wants a man who can live up to those ideals.

Matthew Gwynne, 31, and Amber Bowles, 27

International basketball player Matthew, 31, is single and has been for over a year. He’s on the lookout for someone who’s flexible with their work hours. His recently divorced parents have a tense connection with him.

He wants a relationship where his partner is as devoted to athleticism as she is to him. When she’s not teaching sixth grade, Amber is an avid traveller and reader.

She’s 27 years old. She’s vivacious and loves spending time with her family. Her twin sister is identical to her.

She dreams of finding a husband who shares her passion for raising a family and is just as dedicated to his career as she is.
